JUNIPER FORESTS
The Juniper forests of Ziarat Valley are famous for being the second largest in the world. They are home to important species such as the Suleiman Markhor, urial, black bear, and wolf, as well as more common wildlife like the Afghan pica, fox, jackal and the Chakor Partridge.
